The Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) has announced that the 2026 Sydney Boat Show will be held from 30 July to 2 August at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
This four-day event is poised to transform the world-class precinct into a vibrant showcase of the boating, fishing, and marine lifestyle.

Building on the success of the 2025 show, which attracted over 23,500 attendees and featured more than 130 exhibitors, the 2026 edition aims to surpass expectations. The event will span over 21,000 square metres, presenting more than 400 boats and thousands of marine accessories and technologies. Notably, the previous show unveiled over 16 new products, including four global debuts, reinforcing the event's reputation as a launchpad for innovation and a catalyst for industry growth.

BIA CEO Andrew Fielding emphasized the significance of the event, highlighting the marine industry's substantial contribution to the Australian economy. The sector supports over 35,000 jobs and is projected to have nearly three million licensed boat drivers and more than one million registered vessels by the end of the decade. The Sydney Boat Show not only delivers an economic boost to New South Wales but also serves as a platform for businesses to connect with a highly engaged audience.

The 2026 show will cater to a diverse audience, from seasoned boat owners to first-time buyers, and from fishing novices to professionals. Attendees can look forward to exploring the latest innovations, engaging with industry experts, and experiencing the marine lifestyle firsthand. The event will also feature interactive displays, educational seminars, and family-friendly activities, ensuring a comprehensive experience for all visitors.

Exhibitor demand for the 2026 show is strong, reflecting the industry's resilience and the event's growing prominence. The move to Sydney Olympic Park marks a continued evolution of the show's 57-year legacy, adapting to changing times while maintaining its core mission of promoting the boating and marine lifestyle.
